Get ready to dance. Lady Gaga is returning to the stage.

The musician known for her electrifying performances with nonstop costume changes announced Monday morning 15 new dates for her previously canceled Chromatica Ball summer tour, including a Sept. 8 show at San Francisco’s Oracle Park, the home stadium of the Giants baseball team. Tickets for the San Francisco show go on sale March 14 at 10 am through Ticketmaster.

The tour is promoting Lady Gaga’s sixth album “Chromatica,” which was released in May 2020 and hailed as a return to her dance-pop roots. The album’s lead single, “Stupid Love,” and Lady Gaga’s duet with Ariana Grande, “Rain on Me,” both shot up to the top charts when they were released.

Lady Gaga originally scheduled the tour for 2020 but was forced to postpone it multiple times because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“While some parts of the world are moving quickly to open up, others are not yet ready,” Gaga said in an email statement in 2021 when the tour was postponed a second time, Rolling Stone reported. “So until we can confirm all global dates, we have to postpone The Chromatica Ball shows to the summer of 2022.”

Lady Gaga last performed in San Francisco in August 2017 at Oracle Park (then AT&T Park) as part of the Joanne World Tour. She walked the city streets after the show and handed out money to people without housing.

The pop star was more recently spotted in San Francisco in early March 2020, just before the city shut down for the coronavirus pandemic, dining out at Bar Crenn, the wine bar adjacent to chef Dominique Crenn’s three-Michelin-star Atelier Crenn.

Lady Gaga is reportedly dating San Francisco tech investor Michael Polansky, People magazine reported.

Lady Gaga became a star with her ultra-catchy dance-pop tunes and has gone on to make a name for herself as a Hollywood actress, most recently starring in “House of Gucci,” the 2021 film based on a real-life murder at one of the world’s best known luxury brands.

Tony Bennett won over generations of fans singing “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”. And on his 95th birthday, the beloved singer left his heart on the stage of Radio City Music Hall. Six months after Bennett and his family announced that he had Alzheimer’s disease, Bennett sang with Lady Gaga to a sold-out audience in a two-concert series billed as his last New York appearances in early August. Related video above: Lady Gaga struggled to “stick together” when Tony Bennett remembered her name Now the rest of the world has a chance to watch the August 3rd moving show in a TV special, “One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, “which aired on Sunday. In addition to his signature song, Bennett played standards such as “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Steppin ‘Out With My Baby” and duets with Lady Gaga including “Love For Sale” and “Anything Goes”. His family members have said that sometimes Bennett doesn’t know where he is or what is going on around him. But on the stage in the TV special, the legendary actor didn’t miss a beat. When Lady Gaga shouted “New York, New York” before Bennett took the stage, Lady Gaga burst into tears when she paused to talk about him. “He’s my friend. He’s my musical companion. And he’s the greatest singer in the whole world. And I’m counting on you, New York, to make him smile. So you better cheer. You better scream. You laugh.” better. You better cry. You better give your soul. ” The Radio City Music Hall audience honored the end of the deal. Bennett got his first standing ovation before he even sang a note – and garnered at least a dozen more cheers over the course of the night. At one point the camera panned to a viewer who shouted, “We love you!” Bennett, whose singing career spanned eight decades, is no stranger to performing in front of throngs of enthusiastic fans. Still, before the concert, family members told “60 Minutes” that they weren’t sure what would happen during the show, knew everything would be fine. “It became himself. It just turned on. It was like a light switch,” she told “60 Minutes” on a segment that aired last month. That’s because music and gigs are so deeply rooted in the singer. According to Bennett’s neurologist Dr. Gayatri Devi. “People react differently depending on their strengths. In Tony’s case, it’s his musical memory, his ability to be a performer. It’s an innate and hardwired part of his brain,” Devi said on “60 minutes.” “Even though he doesn’t know what the day might be or where his apartment is, he can still sing the entire repertoire of the American Songbook and move people.” Bennett released his first album in 2014 with Lady Gaga collaboration which became a Cole Porter- Tribute album entitled “Love For Sale” released. It received six Grammy nominations last week. Following the nominations, Lady Gaga told BBC Radio 2’s “The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show” that it was heartbreaking to see what Bennett is going through. She told “60 Minutes” that Bennett had called her “Sweetheart” every time she saw him since the pandemic started, and she wasn’t sure he knew who she was. But when she got on stage to join him on the radio during the City Music Hall concert, Bennett seemed in no doubt. “Wow,” he said as she swirled around in a shimmering gold dress. “Lady Gaga!” An expression of joy crossed Lady Gaga’s face. She leaned forward, her head in her hands, before making another whirl. “I had to hold it together because we had a sold out show and I had a job to do,” Lady Gaga told 60 Minutes. “But I’m telling you when I went on stage and he said, ‘Lady Gaga’, my friend saw me and it was very special.” After the successful shows at Radio City Music Hall, Bennett said the future tour will stop performing. His son and manager Danny Bennett told Variety that these New York concerts would be his last. “This was a tough decision for us as he is a capable artist. However, this is the direction of the doctors,” said Danny Bennett. “It’s not the singing aspect, it’s more the traveling. Look, he’s getting tired. It is decided that it’s just getting too much for him to give concerts now.” Lady Gaga told 60 Minutes that she was in Bennett’s final appearance at Radio City Music Hall. “It’s not a sad story. It’s emotional. It’s hard to see someone change. I think the beauty of it and what was the challenge is to see how it affects them in some ways, but to see you how it doesn’t affect his talent, “she said. “I think he really pushed through something to give the world the gift of knowing that things can change and you can still be great.”

New York – On Tuesday evening, two of New York’s best entertainers enchanted one of New York’s most famous stages.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga gathered at Radio City Music Hall for “One Last Time”. The first show of the two farewells shows that long-time friends and employees are playing for their second co-album “Love For Sale”, which is due to be released in October. 1.2 The second concert is Thursday.

The unusual duo met for the first time in 2011 and in 2014 released the jazz album “Cheek to Cheek”. Since then, Gaga has released two solo activities, including last year’s “Chromatica,” and won Best Original Oscar from “Shallow” to “Shallow.” In 2018, “A Star Is Born”. Meanwhile, Bennett recorded two duo albums with Bill Charlap and Diana Krall. In February he announced that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Bennett, who turned 95 on Tuesday, was diagnosed with the disease in 2016. But the music legend was as energetic and charismatic as a solo set of about 30 minutes in front of a sold-out Radio City audience. Standing ovations after almost every song. Setlist highlights include “Steppin’Out with My Baby”, “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Last Night When We Were Young” and Bennett bites over “the arm he was young on last night”. Crouched.

“Wealth, Style, Power”:Check out Lady Gaga and Adam Driver in the stylish and ominous House of Gucci trailer

Jazz icon “This Is All I Ask” is also emotional, especially when Bennett stuck to the last memorable line of the ballad: “And let the music play as long as there is a song to sing / and I Bennett. Standing in the middle of the piano throughout the set, seldom said except for the occasional “thank you,” “wow,” and “oh” between songs. But his frequent air kisses and thumbs up to the audience showed that he knew how much he was loved.

35-year-old Gaga kindly acted as the presenter and hype woman at a one and a half hour concert. This concert was recorded for the next TV special. The pop star opened for Bennett in a shameless theatrical performance with two beautiful costume changes that sway, wobble and sway across the stage in full lounge singer mode.

Gaga joked about some of the accidents on stage, including losing his wig while dancing, saying, “I called Tony Bennett ‘Tony Bennett’,” but he lost his hair. Rice field. Better. ”

The chameleon singer was sultry and sincere during her standards-filled set, and played attractively to her bandmates and viewers. Some of them sat at the stage table to conjure up the atmosphere of the show’s jazz club. She explained her fictional funeral and introduced “coquette”, a washes of the dead who want to be cremated. (“I’ve already bought an urn. What if I go and someone perms me and puts on a pink dress or something (cursing)?”) Frontline doctors and nurses “Everyone knows it was at least a year and a half ago has been since COVID and it still goes on, “he added.

One of the unmistakable highlights of the evening is “La Vi Ann Rose”, which she sang famous for “A Star Is Born”, and “New York, New York”, with which she introduced Bennett. It was an incredible one-two punch. Show. She dedicated the former to her sister, the fashion designer Natali Germanotta. She hit the audience and shed tears by singing directly to her.

“Sorry, I had to audition for my sister for a moment,” Gaga literally apologized after returning to the stage. “There are things that are more important than the entertainment world.”

“New York, New York” was also enthusiastic when Gaga cheered in the top hat and sang with the applauding New Yorker.

“Let’s start getting the news out. It’s Tony Bennett’s birthday. He is my friend. He is my music companion. He’s the greatest singer in the world, ”she said with a glowing thirst. I sang on my belt.

After Gaga led Radio City with the mellow “Happy Birthday” song, Gaga played three songs with Bennett at the end of the night. I don’t have that swing). He ends the concert with a beautiful interpretation of the 1962 classic “I Left My Heart In San Francisco”.

“You were a good audience. I love this audience, ”said Bennett shortly before the encore.

“And another applause for Tony Bennett,” Gaga bowed piously to her friend, kissed her on the cheek, then held hands and left the stage.
