INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (KFVS) – The Murray State University Men’s Basketball team are moving on in the NCAA Tournament after a thrilling overtime win Thursday night, March 17.

The Racers defeated the San Francisco Dons 92 to 87 during the first round of play at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The win extends Murray State’s winning streak to 21 games.

The Racers, a number 7 seed, will next face the Saint Peter’s Peacocks in the second round of the basketball tournament on Saturday.

Tip off is at 6:45 pm

The Peacocks, a number 15 seed, upset the number 2 seed, the Kentucky Wildcats, 85 to 79 Thursday night in overtime.

The Arizona Cardinals were supposed to be the doormat team for the NFC West Division. Now they’re in the top 4 to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

With a dominant away win over the Los Angeles Rams favorites on Sunday, Arizona team odds have skyrocketed in several areas.

Ultimately, the best window of time to catch Murray is probably over, but the Cardinals could slip the next few games against some very tough competition.

Five of their next six games are against teams of .500 or better, including two matchups against the 49ers who have lost twice in a row. After hosting San Francisco in Week 5, they travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns, host the Texans and Packers, and then head to San Francisco in Week 9 before clashing with the upstart Panthers in Glendale, AZ. make a date.

If Murray dominates the majority of these games, he may be able to put the race in the rearview mirror. I still think it will be up and down and would consider waiting until that part of the season is over to find more value.
