Honor Technology, Inc., a San Francisco-based company that specializes in non-medical home care for older adults, has instead acquired the Omaha-based home. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The takeover is effective immediately. In a joint press release, the two companies say the acquisition brings together the largest home care network and the leading technology and operations platform for home care. The companies collectively state that they have sales of more than $ 2.1 billion in home care services. “Over the past 27 years, Home Statt has demonstrated a strong combination of leadership, passion and innovation,” said Seth Sternberg, co-founder and CEO of Honor in the joint press release. Honor Technology is a privately held company. Instead, Home will continue to operate under this name as a subsidiary of Honor.
