Mike Yastrzemski moving to Giants bench Wednesday

San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon’s series finale against left-hander Sean Manaea and the San Diego Padres.

What It Means:

The Giants are facing a southpaw for the second time this season and they have held Yastrzemski out for both games. Heliot Ramos is filling in right field and batting cleanup while Austin Slater covers leadoff duties.
