A San Francisco home belonging to the founder of one of the earliest venture capital firms in the city listed for $26 million last week.

Proceeds of the sale will support grants made by the Sarlo Family Foundation, according to Sotheby’s International Realty, which is marketing the home.

The Sarlo Family Foundation, which was formally established in 2011 to continue Sarlo’s philanthropic efforts, focuses on initiatives that aid the well-being of the Bay Area’s youth.
