Roli Roti Gourmet RotisserieRoli Roti Gourmet Rotisserie

Roli Roti Gourmet Rotisserieis was founded by Thomas Odermatt, a third generation master butcher from Switzerland. Growing up in his family’s premium butcher shop, he moved to the United States and built Roli Roti, America’s first gourmet rotisserie food truck. Born in 2002 as a single truck, and now it’s a fleet of 6 roaming the Bay Area every day, flinging their famous fried chicken and porchetta sandwiches.

The feedback that fed numerous loyal customers each week showed him that people appreciated his simple but carefully prepared approach to food. He was inspired to care for people outside of his trucks the only way he knew. Whether you spend hours cooking a chicken perfectly on a rotisserie skewer or spending an entire day cooking a bottle of bone broth, it is meant to enable home cooks to eat better without investing time or effort. They took care of it for you.

ā€œReally good porcetta sandwich (great bun too) and the roast chicken with potatoes cooked in chicken fat is amazing. The skin is not too greasy and well charred. Well flavored and not dry at all. ā€œ- WY

Mr. Sisig – restaurantMr. Sisig - restaurant

Mr. Sisig – restaurant In 2010 he started his first food truck. With a restored Chinese food truck from Modesto that Evan found on Craigslist, they advocate the format of burritos and tacos. To fill them up, they went back to Gil’s family history to find a dish his father was famous for at parties, Sisig. In the Pampanga, Philippines area, where Gil’s family has roots, Sisig is rustic drinking feed, a highly flavored mix of minced meat from a pig’s head and snout.

Gil modifies the recipe, according to which the pork must be doused with a heavily seasoned, slightly tangy marinade for twenty-four hours before it is grilled and minced. He adapted the method for chicken and tofu. With its fleet of five food trucks serving the San Francisco Bay Area, you don’t have to look far to sample the truly unique take on a traditional Filipino delicacy.
