Asian man compelled to leap out of his shifting automobile while being carjacked in San Francisco

“I didn’t have a choice, if I don’t do anything I might die”

An Asian man was forced to jump out of his own car when he was ambushed.

The 32-year-old victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he drove home after taking his wife to work Friday morning.

A man approached his Toyota in front of the victim’s home and showed him a gun. He then ordered the victim to sit in the passenger seat.

The suspect drove around the Sunset area asking the victim to hand over his cell phone, credit cards, and jewelry.

Then he asked the victim about his family and with whom he lived and threatened to kill him.

“I was really scared that his gun was like this on my face,” said the victim, pointing to his forehead.

The victim then decided to jump out of the car, which was moving at a speed of over 50 km / h.

“I had no choice, I had no choice, if I don’t do anything, I might die. He’s going to kill me. “

The victim has been traumatized since the incident and is afraid to leave the house. He was unable to return to work due to the psychological trauma.

“Be careful about going to work early or coming home late,” he said as an advice to others.

A GoFundMe page was created to support the victim’s medical expenses and lost wages.

Although police recovered the victim’s car, the suspect remains at large and no arrests have been made.
