Cardinals, Kyler Murray Odds Shifting in Futures Market
The Arizona Cardinals were supposed to be the doormat team for the NFC West Division. Now they’re in the top 4 to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
With a dominant away win over the Los Angeles Rams favorites on Sunday, Arizona team odds have skyrocketed in several areas.
They are now level with the Rams at +170 to win the division after starting the year at +500 in last place. They have moved up to fourth place in the NFC among the teams most likely to win the conference by +650, way up from +2500 at the start of the year, and up from +5000 Super Bowl odds in the preseason +1400!

Arizona’s 4-0 start has finally caught the odds makers’ attention, both for the team and their quarterback.
Kyler Murray made a career high of 76.1% of his passes in Year 3, scored 12 touchdowns in four games in the air and on the ground, and has a quarterback rating of 115.05. At the beginning of the year, Murray’s MVP odds on WynnBET Sportsbook were set at +1800, 10th among the quarterbacks in the league.

Ultimately, the best window of time to catch Murray is probably over, but the Cardinals could slip the next few games against some very tough competition.
Five of their next six games are against teams of .500 or better, including two matchups against the 49ers who have lost twice in a row. After hosting San Francisco in Week 5, they travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns, host the Texans and Packers, and then head to San Francisco in Week 9 before clashing with the upstart Panthers in Glendale, AZ. make a date.
If Murray dominates the majority of these games, he may be able to put the race in the rearview mirror. I still think it will be up and down and would consider waiting until that part of the season is over to find more value.
