Charles “Charlie” L. Taylor Jr. Obituary

Charlie was born in Scituate, MA to Charles and Christine Taylor. He graduated from Scituate Public Schools in 2010. He grew up in Scituate, was active in ASP and played baseball and football. He played trombone in jazz and brass bands. He also played drums and guitar for his own enjoyment and in bands with friends. He loved skateboarding and snowboarding. He was employed at Sandwich Chimney Sweep in Sandwich, MA. Before his recent move to Falmouth, MA, he called San Francisco, California home and worked for Starbucks Co.
Charlie was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. He was kind, funny and loved by everyone he met. He was a peacekeeper, a diplomat, a leader and a great friend. Charlie will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Christine Taylor; his father, Charles Taylor and his wife, Rosemary; siblings, Hannah R. Taylor Carruthers and Grace Elizabeth Taylor; He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 FIrst Parish Road, Scituate on Saturday, October 22nd at 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service until 5:00 p.m.
