SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — It’s shaping up to be a star-spangled Fourth of July around South San Francisco and Peninsula region of the San Francisco Bay Area.
As coronavirus cases continue to drop across the state, and the number of those vaccinated continues to rise, Independence Day events are opening up area-wide.
July 4 is almost here, so find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you. We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening near SSF and the Peninsula, so you can start planning.

JULY 4: 4th of July Freedom Fest 5K & Kid’s Fun Run. Back & in person this year.
