Popular local burger chain Gott’s Roadside is opening its second location in San Francisco this month, right next to the Chase Center.

“We’ve had Mission Bay as a neighborhood in mind for several years because it’s the fastest growing neighborhood in San Francisco,” said Clay Walker, president of Gott’s Roadside, in a press release. “While Gott’s usually likes to move into more mature markets and add value where there is already an audience, we feel very flattered and humble to be part of the biggest development in San Francisco in the last decade.”

The 4,000-square-foot new restaurant is located in Thrive City, the square around the Chase Center. It has an outdoor plaza and an Airstream trailer that serves beer and wine and serves as a roadside bleacher as a reminder of Gott’s roots. All of God’s classics are on the menu, including the California burger with fried egg, the kimchi burger and crispy tacos with ahi-poke. There are also plans to have some Chase Center-themed specials for Warriors fans, such as: B. Soft serve cones with blue and gold flecks.

Gott’s Mission Bay opens on September 17, making it the restaurant’s seventh location in the Bay Area not including the restaurant outpost at San Francisco International Airport, which is listed as temporarily closed on Gott’s website.

The brothers Joel and Duncan Gott opened the first Gott’s Roadside in St. Helena in 1999 and served Californian-inspired dishes with seasonal ingredients from the region.
