It’s no secret that renting an apartment in San Francisco is expensive, but it’s no longer the priciest in the country! At least for now. Each week, we search through apartment rental listings and seek out the weird, the luxurious and even just the wouldn’t-that-be-nice. The city by the bay has it all, but can you guess what it costs? Welcome to the series we’re calling “Guess the rent in San Francisco.”

With a working fireplace, hot tub, wet bar, and a “panoramic” rooftop deck, this 4,000-plus-square-foot house in Telegraph Hill is the type of home most San Franciscans can only dream about.

Built in 2017, the expansive house is designed with indoor-outdoor living in mind, according to its Craigslist ad. “This home is an entertainer’s dream house!” the listing proclaims.
