StudioJYO is a growing interior design company specializing in high quality residential interior design in the Bay Area. We focus on clean, modern interiors that are functional yet warm and inviting. We are looking for an Interior Designer with 2-4+ years experience with a strong design flair, excellent graphic skills, organizational skills and an energetic “get things done” attitude. Our company is small and agile, but only engages in premium projects and expects the highest quality work results. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture

• 2-4+ years experience in residential interior design

• Mastery of AutoCAD, ie able to create floor plans, interior elevations.

• Mastery of Excel spreadsheets to create completion plans, installation plans and lighting plans

• Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop

• Knowledge of Studio Designer and/or Houzz Pro (Ivy)

• Knowledge of Sketchup or Rhino

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Car is a plus

TASKS

• Support and participation in all phases of the design from concept design to construction management.

• Track and manage project schedule and budget

• Assisting the lead designer in all communication with the client

• Select furniture, materials, fixtures and hardware

• Create presentation materials, furniture plans and 3D sketches

• Communicate with vendors and showrooms

• Coordinate with architects

• Visit the site and take care of GC communications
