Julia Hansen August 28, 1932 – April 21, 2014 San Jose Julia passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Harrisburg, NC.
Julia was born in Akiak, AK. She graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Dental Training. She helped bring dental care to the Alaskan villages. She was actively involved in the ball room dance groups at the Senior Centers.
She is survived by her daughter, Adair Hansen-Coz and husband, Tony, of Sacramento; grandchildren Waylon and Elizabeth; daughter, Yvonne Herberg and husband, James, of Harrisburg, NC; granddaughters Kirsten and Juliana; and son Robert Hansen of Twin Hills, AK.
A memorial service will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Venue2 at Venture Christian Church, 16845 Hicks Road, Los Gatos. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Scleroderma Research Foundation 220 Montgomery St #1411 San Francisco, CA 94104.
