Mansion owned by famed painter’s enterprise associate on the market

A gated mansion on 10.6 acres of forested and manicured grounds in the heart of Los Gatos is for sale for $18 million.

The property was custom built for Linda and Ken Raasch, the former business partner of popular painter Thomas Kinkade, reports the Sacramento Bee. Nevis and Ardizzone are the listing agents.

The 9,000-square-foot property touts six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house. It also features a swimming pool and spa, a sport court and an Italianesque garden, among many other amenities.

Ken Raasch co-founded Thomas Kinkade’s company, Media Arts Group. Kincade was known for mass marketing reproductions of his work, which featured impressionistic and pastel scenes of nature and Americana. He died in 2012 in his home in Monte Sereno at the age of 54.
