SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A window being repaired on the 45th floor of a skyscraper in Rincon Hill fell in the street Thursday afternoon and broke, but thankfully no one was injured.
Shortly after 2 p.m., the San Francisco Department of Emergency Services tweeted that people and vehicles should avoid the 1st Street and Folsom intersection due to an unspecified obstacle, and said emergency services were on site.
ALERTSF: Avoid 1st and Folsom Streets due to obstruction. Rescue workers are on site.

The San Francisco Fire Department’s Twitter account later confirmed that a window being repaired on the building had fallen and broken on the sidewalk below.

It took the crews about half an hour to clear the broken glass from the sidewalk and the road near the intersection. There were no injuries.
