Police Investigating Residence Invasion, Sexual Assault in Oakland Hills – CBS San Francisco

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Oakland police released a public safety notice Thursday night about an early morning home invasion and sexual assault in the Redwood Heights neighborhood.
According to the note posted on the department’s social media accounts, the incident happened just before 4 a.m. on Thursday morning when the suspect entered the apartment through an unlocked window.

The man approached two sleeping victims and asked for money. The suspect had sexually assaulted a victim before leaving the apartment.

According to the police, the incident is an arbitrary act of violence. The authorities are asking the population to help solve the case. The suspect is described as a male in his twenties, six feet tall, and slender. He wore a black mask, a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
