ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Members of the Rail Yard Dawgs ice hockey team and Wisler Plumbing volunteers volunteered at Total Action for Progress (TAP )’s Oliver Hill House on Friday.
Oliver Hill House is the current home of TAP’s Super Hero Kid’s Mentoring Program, which is focused on healing trauma and restoring hope and connection for youth in the local community.
The volunteers cleaned, moved furniture and performed repairs around the Oliver Hill House.
The work was made possible by a work grant from Wisler Plumbing and the Rail Yard Dawgs ice hockey team.
