San Francisco Proclaims Vaccination Mandate | Information Radio 1200 WOAI

Although a number of companies in San Francisco are already demanding proof of vaccination from customers, the mayor of the California city has made it official.

The Mayor of London Breed announced Thursday that proof of vaccination is now required to enter San Fran’s restaurants, bars and gyms. “Many companies in San Francisco are already pioneering the requirement of vaccination certificates for their customers because they care about the health of their employees, their customers, and this city,” says Breed.

The announcement comes a week after New York Mayor Bill De Blasio ordered a similar mandate. However, only one dose is required to enter NYC facilities, while San Francisco requires proof of full vaccination.
