San Francisco well being tech agency strikes HQ to MetroCenter | Well being Care

A San Francisco health tech startup that provides AI tools to automate processes for healthcare providers moves its headquarters to Nashville.

A five-person team from DARVIS, an acronym for Data Analytic Real-World Visual Intelligence System, will move into a MetroCenter office at 240 Great Circle Road in June. In addition, the company has international branches in Germany, Great Britain and Pakistan.

DARVIS provides technology that automates the clinical workflow, from determining whether staff is wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, to tracking the condition and availability of hospital beds in a facility. The AI-powered technology can also track medical inventory and assess the hygiene of medical devices.

Under the leadership of co-founders Jan Schlüter and Jan-Philipp Mohr, the company is leaving San Francisco after participating in the Project Healthcare of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, an accelerator program with a network of almost 70 mentors, including the leadership of HCA Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, including the Nashville Health Care Council and LifePoint Health.

The move enables the company to market the tools it is already using in Germany to the constantly growing clinical network in Nashville.

“The introduction of automated technology within the workspace gives providers more time to do what they were trained to do – caring for patients,” Schlueter said in the press release. “The concentration of healthcare systems and the vast experience of healthcare players in Nashville made the city the perfect place to move our headquarters.”
