Vegetation Fireplace Shuts Down Eastbound Freeway 12 In Fairfield – CBS San Francisco
FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) – Fairfield firefighters responded to a vegetation fire that closed Highway 12 Monday night.
Firefighters responded around 8:30 pm to the two-acre fire on 12 State Highway and Beck Avenue, which the Fairfield Fire Department said “was moving at a moderate rate.”

Eastbound Highway 12 has been closed. Authorities warned motorists to avoid the area.
According to the authorities, “the forward movement was stopped” within about an hour and the crews mopped up.
