Visalia 3-12 months-Previous Dies in Sizzling Automotive After Mother Leaves Her to Have a tendency Pot Develop – CBS San Francisco

VISALIA (CBS / CNN) – A three-year-old Visalia girl died after police said her mother left her in an unventilated car for almost three hours in nearly 100-degree heat on Thursday.

Investigators said the mother, identified as Eustajia Dominguez Mojica at the age of 28, left her daughter in the car while she tended a marijuana grow at a house on 100 block on Perez Avenue in Visalia.

Police told CBS Fresno subsidiary KSEE that the child identified as Jessica Campos had been in the car for up to three hours before anyone spotted them. According to the investigators, the outside temperature at this time was at least 100 degrees.

Police found 150 plants outside the house and 475 pounds of processed cannabis inside.

Four other adults were at home and all were arrested on child risk because four children were found in the penitentiary. The children were handed over to youth welfare, including two 9-month-old babies.

Mojica is also charged with child endangerment and negligent homicide because of her daughter’s death.
