Watch Dick Van Dyke & Derek Hough ‘Step In Time’ on DISNEYLAND 60 Particular!

One of the highlights of yesterday’s THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY: DISNEYLAND 60 Special on ABC was a performance of “Step In Time”, the lively dance number from Disney’s cult film MARY POPPINS.
Dancing With the Stars pro and master of ceremonies of the evening Derek Hough took the stage in the role of chimney sweep Bert and was accompanied by the film’s original Bert, Dick Van Dyke. The venerable 90-year-old actor never skipped a beat and proved that he can still “kick his knees” as high as the best of them. Check out the performance below!
Walt Disney, one of the ultimate dreamers, used his uninhibited imagination and determination to create what became the springboard for all the spirited and hugely successful creativity of the Walt Disney Company that followed – his crowning achievement: Disneyland. ABC celebrated the ingenuity and inspiration of Disney’s great, bold creation with a glamorous, star-studded Diamond Anniversary event, both in the heart of Hollywood at the Dolby Theater and in some of the most iconic locations in Disneyland Park, including Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street USA and Cars Land, a themed area at Disney California Adventure Park. The special also featured two dazzling technology displays – the “Paint the Night” Parade and “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” at Disney California Adventure Park and many more.
