Withers has named Paul Jebely a senior partner in his Hong Kong office and head of his newly established global asset finance practice.
Jebely joins from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman where he was Managing Partner of the Hong Kong office and Co-Chair of the firm’s Private Wealth and Asset Finance Practices. He primarily represents wealthy individuals and their companies. His clients currently include many well-known people on the Forbes Rich List and large corporations, both publicly and privately owned. He has served as counsel on well over $ 20 billion in transactions for the past 15 years.
Jebely was named the world’s leading private aviation and yachting lawyer by Chambers & Partners in 2018 (and recognized by the prestigious publication as the best private aviation lawyer in Asia since 2016). He has won other awards.
Jebely is also quoted by the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and other international aviation publications. He is admitted to the bar in England and Wales, the United States (New York and Washington State) and Canada (Ontario).
Qiming Venture Partner
Qiming Venture Partners, the Chinese venture capital firm that manages $ 6.2 billion, has brought Shiyu Wang back as a partner. Shiyu Wang will co-lead the TMT team that manages and invests in the internet and consumer sectors.
Shiyu Wang previously worked at Qiming Venture Partners from 2012 to 2016.

Canada Life Asset Management
Canada Life Asset Management has appointed Jordan Sriharan as fund manager in its multi-asset business, which has more than £ 3.4 billion (US $ 4.58 billion) in assets under management as of September 2021.
Sriharan will partner with Craig Rippe, Head of Multi-Asset, to develop and manage a range of blended investment strategies for advisors, asset managers and institutional investors.
Prior to that, Sriharan was Head of Managed Portfolio Services at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management for eight years. Previously, he was an investment analyst at Mercer, Wellcome Trust and Fidelity.
