Wayne Boston Obituary – Campbell, CA (1922-2010)

Wayne Roy Boston Campbell Wayne Roy Boston entered life on November 4, 1922 in Sioux City, Iowa and entered eternal life on December 31, 2010. He married the love of his life Donna (Hammer) in 1942 and they were blessed with 27 years together. He was a loving father to Cheryl Christensen and son in law Dan. He was the adoring grandparent of Wendie Christensen Kunz (Scott) and Culley Christensen (Natalie); three great-grandchildren; Nicole, Sara, and Cheyenne. He was the proud brother to Sally Pederson of Anaheim, California. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna, also his parents Mattie and Roy, brothers James and Allen. Wayne graduated from Central High School in 1941. He then entered the United States Army serving in WW2 as a ball turret gunner on a bomber with 50 missions over Germany. He then worked for several plumbing companies in Sioux City. He began his own plumbing company which he operated until he and his wife Donna moved to California. He then finished his career with Natkin Plumbing Company in California. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 4, 2010 at 1:00p.m. at the Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road San Jose, CA 95124.
